The Africa Group signalled their frustration with the rich world’s repeated failure to supply new emissions targets for the second period of the Kyoto Protocol.

False start from EU on 2010 climate money

Amid much fanfare today (Dec 12), Europe’s leaders announced €2.4 billion a year from 2010 in a so-called ‘fast-start’ initiative to enable developing countries to begin tackling climate change within one month of the Copenhagen conference.
