The last couple of weeks have been a busy time for the HungerFREE team. On World Food Day, on October 16th, ActionAid teamed up with hungry people and communities, farmers’ groups, supporters, celebrities, and sympathetic politicians in around 25 countries to take hundreds of thousands of actions.

I was in Mwingi district in Kenya today, at one of a series of events taking place in the country for World Day. This is one of the most affected areas of the current food crisis in Kenya and this was a great opportunity for affected communities to make their voices heard.
