Haiti Earthquake: Stories from the frontline

In the days since the devastating earthquake, many stories have flooded into us from Haiti, from the people we work with, ActionAid staff and ordinary Haitians who have lost everything yet still have the capacity to risk their own lives to help others.

All of them heartbreaking. So many are inspiring. We want to share a few with you...

 

The Right kind of adoption in Haiti

One – four-year-old Neliejelaine Jean – was the child of one of her neighbours. The other - Milles Xavier Francois, 8, is her brother’s son.
