ActionAid lit up the Colosseum for the night on the eve of the World Food Summit - to send a message to the world that action on hunger is urgent.

The Roman Colosseum is only lit up for significant global moments.

With 1 billion people now hungry and world leaders meeting at the World Food Summit the next day - this is a significant moment!!!

The idea was to stand in solidarity with the billion hungry people around the world who everyday are denied their right to food and shine a light on the hunger scandal.
