With 1 billion people now hungry and world leaders meeting at the World Food Summit the next day - this is a significant moment!!!
In the past few days over 165,000 people around the world have sent messages to world leaders - through an AVAAZ-ActionAid online action - demanding a massive upscale of resources to fight hunger. The idea was to stand in solidarity with the billion hungry people around the world who everyday are denied their right to food and shine a light on the hunger scandal.
